Crew member on GBR132 Silvi Belle 2

update from the boys:

Its been a pleasant and fast 36 hours since we at last gybed west for the long drag across. We mistimed our gybe with the windshift and lost several miles and the lead to Talles II who at the time we could see coming up behind us. Since settling on this long starbord gybe we have been building the pace up with the novice crew we have and whilst we are not at the same pace as Talles we are getting close to them and certainly trying to keep them honest. We are also looking at a couple of the bigger boats ahead who we are starting to take some miles off.

The crew have settled into the ryhtem of life onboard and are certainly enjoying the armer temperatures and the sun and clear blue skies during the day. Winds seem to be dalling slightly and we have just changed up from the A4 to the A2

cheers
