Travel to Lanzarote

The RORC Transatlantic Race starts from Lanzarote where all participating yachts will be berthed in Puerto Calero Marina prior to the start. The Puerto Calero marina has 450 berths and is suitable for superyachts up to 60m, making this the ideal start location for the fleet.  You can read more about the services provided by the marina here.

Entry to the Puerto Calero port is easy since there are no hidden obstacles (rocks, sand bars, wrecks, etc.). The mouth of the port lies to the SW.

The entry beacon Fl(3)G.14s13m8M lies to starboard and is situated on the most westerly point of the breakwater. As you come into the port, the first port-side buoy Fl(2)R.8s3M is clearly visible lying 70m NNE of the starboard entry beacon.  The Marina Office is based in the control tower situated just beyond the fuel dock on the south breakwater.  The Marina Office's opening hours during winer are 0800 - 2000 daily (Sundays 0900 - 2000).

All boats should communicate their arrival before entry; you can call the port on VHF Channel 09 or 16 (24 hours).

If you wish to make a reservation at the port, please do not hesitate to contact the Marina Office as follows:
